Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

This is a standard-form draft describing how PlannerSuites actually handles data today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have an attorney review it — especially around any regional data-protection law that applies to your users (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, DR data protection rules) — before relying on it for compliance.

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information PlannerSuites collects, why, and how it's handled, for both planners and the clients/couples they invite to their event portal.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Account information: name, email address, and (for planners) business name.
  • Event data: event details, dates, venues, guest lists, budgets, vendor information, tasks, timelines, and notes you enter.
  • Files and photos you upload, such as event documents or mood board images.
  • Messages and responses submitted through questionnaires, mood board comments, and similar features.
  • Optional profile and business details you choose to add, such as a profile photo, business logo, phone number, or address.

We do not currently collect payment card information — the Service does not process live payments (see Terms of Service, Section 4).

3. How we use information

We use the information you provide to operate the Service: to show you your events and data, to let planners share relevant information with their clients through the client portal and shareable documents, to authenticate your account, and to communicate with you about the Service. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your content to train third-party AI models.

4. Who can see your information

Access to your data is controlled by row-level security rules enforced at the database level, not just in the app's interface. In practice this means:

  • A planner can see the data for their own events, clients, vendors, and staff — never another planner's.
  • A couple/client can see only the data for their own event, and only the parts their planner has chosen to share (for example, files are individually marked visible or hidden by the planner).
  • Documents shared via a public link (proposal, contract, invoice) are visible to anyone who has that specific link — treat those links as you would any shared document, and ask your planner to regenerate the link if you believe it was shared too widely.

5. Where data is stored

PlannerSuites is built on Supabase, a third-party cloud infrastructure provider, which hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Uploaded files (such as event documents and photos) are stored in Supabase Storage, with the same access rules described above.

6. Cookies and local storage

PlannerSuites uses your browser's local storage to remember your session (so you stay logged in) and your language preference (English/Spanish). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the email below and we will process the request. Some information may be retained where we have a legitimate reason to do so (for example, to resolve disputes or comply with a legal obligation).

8. Your choices

You can update most of your account and business information yourself from Settings. For anything you can't change directly — including requesting a copy of your data or asking us to delete it — contact us using the email below.

9. Children's privacy

PlannerSuites is intended for business and professional use by adults (event planners and their adult clients) and is not directed at children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active users before the changes take effect.

11. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent to info@plannersuites.com.
